Drone Technology Full Pilot View

Yes the clouds are low level and the views through the clouds are beautiful but the most interesting point illustrated in this video is that the drone is flying above the clouds. This is only possible because of FPV or First Person View goggles – the pilot’s view is from the drone. The video from the drone camera is streamed real time back to the pilot who is wearing googles. This technology allows the drone to fly out of line-of-sight – you need to be licenced to do this. At a practical level, clients can also see what the drone sees and guide the pilot to structures or sites they want to investigate
