Latest drone technology with a zoom and tracking HD camera

DJI Mavic 2 Pro with Hasselblad Camera.
Andaman Drone Art uses the latest technology to capture true 4K video and 20 MP images using state-of-the-art Hasselblad cameras. The camera is mounted on a GPS, gyro stabilised drone that has a range of 8 kilometers. This allows imagery to be captured from high in the clouds, face-to-face with the high up surface of a structure, or up close and personal in indoor environments, and everything in between.

DJI Mavic 2 Pro with Hasselblad Camera can carry very a high-quality video 4K cameras and 20MB stills, which relative to the platform can cover 360 degrees horizontally and 270 degrees vertically, independently from the drone platform. The camera can also zoom 4 times, reducing the need to move the platform closer. The platform can hover stationary, even in moderate winds or hold focus on an object as the platform moves past or around the object.

The platform itself can move in any direction, up to 8km horizontally and way above low-lying clouds. Such ‘out-of-sight’ flying is only possible because of First Person Viewing (FPV) where the view though the camera is live streamed to the pilot, a view that can be shared with another person who may then direct which objects to view more closely.

As a safety precaution, in the event of loss of connection, the drone will fly home and land exactly where it took off from. It will keep track of how much power it needs to return and will also return if reserves approach this level. It has three dimensional warnings if an object comes too close and if the pilot can’t take avoidance action, the platform will autonomously avoid.

Compared to other platforms, good quality drones are more cost effective to buy and operate. A full kit still requires thousands of dollars plus Casa licences to be able to operate and there is also a high level of skill and experience required to produce high quality results safely. It is also important to avoid high overheads swallowing up the advantages of the technology. We are able to capture steady and high-quality images in a range of conditions. We can fly high and drift above mountains and clouds, or fast and low to the ground through trees and structures, or even enter indoors.

Combine all this with 30 minutes hover time per battery pack (of which there are many), an 8 km range, 4K video and 20 MP photo capability, and our pilot of 20 years’ experience, and we believe that we can provide the right solution for your needs. So, whether you want footage that dramatically chases a car or an athlete at speed, rapidly ascends from a beautiful location into the clouds, or pans across natural beauty we can help you bring out the best in your vision so that you can show the rest of the world.
